margarito's not hard to beat, guys. you just gotta have the right mindset to box for 12, and you gotta have the stamina to be able to do it. sounds harsh, but the truth is, when you lose to a fighter like margarito, it probably says more about YOU than it does about him. and i say that w/ all due respect to him and his fans....but its true.[/QUOTE]

Yes, that is true. I think it damaged Cotto pshycologically more than anything.

And he also needs to watch how effectively Floyd Mayweather clinched and stopped Jose Luis Castillo's inside work, all these tactics are what Miguel Cotto needs to beat Antonio Margarito.
Cotto doesn't have Mayweather's stanima and ring intelligence.

Floyd is also better on the inside and deceptively strong.

Cotto will get trampled even faster in the rematch.

bruh, THAT'S ALL HE HAS TO DO........he can't get caught up in trying to go toe-to-toe. he's the superior boxer, nothing wrong with relying on your BOXING skills. and if the fans don't like it, **** 'em...........its the W that matters.

i disagree. cotto feels like HE can do things differently and WIN. he's not damaged psychologically....he just fought to the strenghts of margarito, got his nose broken, and ran outta stamina. like somebody else just posted, all he has to do is watch tape of mayweather-castillo 2, and stay off the ropes. cotto is the far superior boxer.....guys that are brawlers, will make you look foolish if you try and brawl with them. just BOX the **** outta them, and f--- what the fans say. BOXING is hit and dont get hit back, if thats cotto's mindset, instead of trying to brawl or KO a fighter, he'll be fine....

A GOOD BOXER ALWAYS BEATS A GOOD BRAWLER........

that's the million dollar question. that's why i keep saying cotto has to be PREPARED to box 12 full rounds. if he can't it says more about him than it does about margarito. margarito is the type of opponent you face to see whether you're a very good fighter, or a great fighter......even tho he himself is not a great fighter..........

There's a true champion. He got beat, and he wants to get back in the ring with him. He's great for the sport of boxing. I think he'll win a rematch. He's too talented and he's also mentally tough. He's got all the tools and intangibles to be a superstar and possibly an ATG.
