it was a bad move from margo not to take goosen offer.....

now arum.. start talking **** about the economics.. .and even is playing down a lil bit cotto for his return.... greedymother ****er.!!!
Arum don't **** with Margarito for real. You could tell Arum was disappointed he beat Cotto because that ****ed his money up. Margarito needs to realized that he will never be a big draw superstar fighter. That doesn't mean he isn't good at what he does. Its just not in the cards for all fighters.

I think Cotto wins a rematch, he showed he had the tools for the job by handling Marg early on, but he gassed out, partially coz of Margs constint apressure both physical and mental, partially coz of the body shots, partially coz of the nose injury, and also coz he threw all his shots with Venom and refused to clinch when he should have.

I think cotto woulda one the first even if he fought the exact same fight but without the nose injury which in a high pace fight with a Tornado like Tony Margarito can mean the difference of lasting and not lasting, hard to breath i know.

Im hoping he's smart enough to clinch a bit this time, tie marg up u know, this will save his energy , stifle margs attack and run out the clock all at once!

The body shots some are calling for just dont seem available to me on Tony with the way he holds his arms.

ALL my points is goin on Miguel in the rematch, he will win im sure of it!
But hey even if he dont we are sure for another classic!

Either way these two fighters are cemented in boxing history. If Cotto outpoints Margarito in the rematch, the rubbermatch will come in 2010.

I'm still gonna pick Margarito to win the rematch again though...probably via UD or SD. I think Cotto will again outbox Tony in the beginning until Margarito's relentless pressure starts to catch up to him again. A knockdown or two by Tony will be the difference on the scorecards.

i wonder why margarito doesn't have the same determination as cotto to avenge his loss.

i'll bet anything, arum puts him in with soto-karas,this guy doesn't hit as hard as cintron, but if he does get hit a lot, believe me,he will come up with an excuse as to why they should wait for a rematch...

good he seems to crave this fight
hopefully he wont run around the ring like last time and fight a real battle
maybe he will at least try to hurt margarito cuz he knows no matter how fast he runs hes gonna get caught

Atleast for the first 6 he could see he was doing something good
Something to build on going into the rematch.

He became a champion and became more rich and more famous than he would have if he fought and beat Williams. If Margarito loses to Cotto, he might be more tempted to avenge his loss. I don't think Margarito is scared of Williams at all, and would favor him in a rematch. This match just means more to Cotto than a rematch with Williams would have meant to Margarito. Props to Cotto for being such a man about it, but people shouldn't think Margarito is a ***** because he didn't do the same thing with PWill. They are just different situations.
