well my bad for overreacting...compubox doesn't always mean much, sorry but that is the way it is. those three old men(sometimes a lady) are what matters, and they had margo winning. that's what i was saying. oh and this is not the only fight that a fighter was landing more didn't win. plus most of those shots didn't have alot on them, and the shots margo was landing were damaging. that might have been the difference.Comment

i understand.how do you know who's punches are harder? how can you judge a fight on who you assume is doing more damage. margarito barely landed head shots he barely ever lands head shots even the punch that broke cotto's nose in the 2nd round doesn't look like it lands flushwell my bad for overreacting...compubox doesn't always mean much, sorry but that is the way it is. those three old men(sometimes a lady) are what matters, and they had margo winning. that's what i was saying. oh and this is not the only fight that a fight was landing more didn't win. plus most of those shots didn't have alot on them, and the shots margo was landing were damaging. that might have been the difference.Comment

well based on the fact that he had cotto hurt several times in the fight, before the 11th. those were head and body shots. cotto never once hurt margo, never.Comment

There are boxing fans then there are nuthugger fanboys I think we all know which NAPO is. You should see all the trash he was spewing against Margarito before the Cotto fight.
They can't deal with the fact that the official scores were in favor of Tony 96-94, 96-94, 95-95 after 10 rounds.
Moreover, the scores will never matter because Cotto won't ever make it on his feet to a decision no matter how many times they fight.
All I keep hearing is how Cotto was ahead after 6rounds. Well ****, Zab Judah was ahead after 4 rounds against Mayweather, maybe we should induct him into the hall of fame. A championship fight is 12 rounds and even if you win 11.5 of them but end up getting KTFO you've still lost.Comment

Tradition talks
As always, The Ring - after more than 80 years in business - makes it right. Margarito is #1, Paul Williams #2. (Williams would be #1 if he hadn't that uninspiring night against Quintana). Williams has beaten Margo once. If any justice shall be done, the rightful owner of the World Welterweight Title can only be settled by these two. And Cotto, well, he will be the obvious choice for the first challenge to the new, undisputed champ. **** the alphabetics, The Ring belt is the only one which counts.Comment
