There are guys who could beat him, though nothing is definite. This thread really is about the top guys in those divisions though, if I tell you who I think would win most would be like no, HBO didn't say that so go f--- yourself.

    But he can be beaten.

I would not bet on anyone beating him, but Pavlik and Johnson have the best chance IMO.

Dawson likes to lay on the ropes and Pavlik especially can really make a fellow pay a heavy price for doing that. Pavlik and Johnson both have good work rate also and Chad is not a 3 min of every round fighter. Yet anyway.

Calzaghe, experience, adaptability, speed, has pretty good power when he does punch with full force, pressure, workrate.

Hopkins, spoiler, one punch and clinch, dirty tactics could drive Dawson out of his gameplan, experience, smart.

Johnson, close fight, some had him winning.

Kessler, you never know, outside chance, a jab can do wonders, especially a jab as good as Kessler's, it doesn't really matter if an opponent is a southpaw as long as you have a very good jab, Kessler has a very good jab. I'd pick Dawson to beat him though.

Johnson could beat him (again). Calzaghe too probably.

                EDIT: Pavlik too.

Dude the question was from MW to LHW Haye was a CW which is above LHW so he wasn't included in the conversation. I would think Pavlik would be a good match up with Dawson.
