Video: Solis first kicks HAYE's ass then KTF him out

First, his absoulte domination over Peter proved that WBC was right.
Second, Vitaliy was, hands down, the best HW at the point of his retirement.
Third, WBC Emeritus status did qualify him for the title shot. That's the internal law of WBC, and this law is not bull**** within WBC. Your opinion is irrelevant for their decisions.Comment

I know but he didn't deserve it, he won which proves he could have beaten the champ but the same way most people think if Haye beat Barret he doesn't deserve a crack the number 1 champ. Vitali had as much right to fight Peter as Haye does now to fight a Klit or Chagaev etc.Comment

WTF? I expected a KO and got nothing! Haye wasn't even hurt but he threw a great uppercut that almost ended the fight in 20 seconds? I don't see the point of this thread. At all. What it proves is Haye has some pop.

1. The WBC was right to put him in there but he didn't deserve to put him in there he hadn't fought in 4 years, does Vitali deserve to be put ahead of say a prospect that has worked his way up for several years only to have his title shot delayed and a former titlest that hasn't fought in 4 year ahead of him without a tune up?First, his absoulte domination over Peter proved that WBC was right.
Second, Vitaliy was, hands down, the best HW at the point of his retirement.

2. 4 years ago again look to 1.
3.Just because a corrupt sanctioning body decides on a rule doesn't make it right, Haye if he gets past Barrett has as much right to face a champ as Vitali did when he came back after a 4 year layoffComment

wtf???haye has 1 heavyweight fight against a nobody u r making no sense..vitali was HEAVYWEIGHT champ when he retired due to injuriesI know but he didn't deserve it, he won which proves he could have beaten the champ but the same way most people think if Haye beat Barret he doesn't deserve a crack the number 1 champ. Vitali had as much right to fight Peter as Haye does now to fight a Klit or Chagaev etc.Comment

It was 4 years ago, 4 year is a long time.
Joe Louis was the best Heavyweight of his era and for almost a decade yet it was less that an year that he was KTFO against Marciano. Vitali is hands down IMO the best HW out there but he didn't deserve to be put infront of all the other guys who might have slaved away for years just to have there titles shot delayed because a former champ of 4 years decides he wants another pop at the title.Comment

I agree, I thought Haye looked like the better fighter and lost and somehow got inexplicably stopped lol, who leapt in like David Haye was his only son. He wasn't really getting beaten up, just another indicater of Haye's previous awful stamina.
Ho hum. That Solis doesn't even exist anymore.Comment

I fixed it for you.Second, Vitaliy was, hands down, the best HW after Lennox Lewis' retirement.
Why was Vitali "Emeritus champion" after three title fights, one of which ended in a loss and another was for a vacant title followed by years of ****ing around pulling out of fights without being stripped of the title, while Lennox Lewis was not offered such an honour despite some 18 WBC title fights of which 15 were wins (and one draw) and only one was for a vacant title? Lewis retired having made 10 successful WBC title defenses and got **** all from the WBC. Why was this honour awarded to Vitali who had as much impact on the WBC as, I don't know, Tony Tucker, and not to Lennox Lewis who had an outstanding association with the WBC? I know the alphabets like to embrace mediocrity but that's ridiculous.Third, WBC Emeritus status did qualify him for the title shot. That's the internal law of WBC, and this law is not bull**** within WBC. Your opinion is irrelevant for their decisions.Comment

Regarding the Haye fight I've seen it before. Haye nearly wins in the first minute (and in a pro fight would have been the winner because Solis would not have been saved by the standing eight count) and then loses by RFSC following some dubious standing eights, at least one of which didn't follow a punch. He didn't get "knocked down twice" nor did he get his ass kicked. I had Solis ahead at the time of the stoppage but there were a lot of phantom punches by Solis in that bout.Comment
