I tend to think he has gotten just a bit delusional in terms of his place..he is a big star, YES, pound for pound all that..but I definitely do not think he is a Sugar Ray Leonard, an Oscar De La Hoya, who is almost bigger than the sport....some of you may be too young to remember but when Sugar Ray Leonard was retiring and unretiring in the early 80's it was HUGE news...his 1982 retirement speech was broadcast in PRIME TIME on network TV!!!!!!! PBF isnt there...no way...

Now, I know you picked FMJ to beat PAC. But, I'm assuming that you analzyed it with the thinking that both guys on that given night would be on their "A" game.

Here's my question, what if it was the Floyd that just beat JMM on 9/19 vs the PAC that beat DLH/Ricky?

I wasn't really in awe with Floyd's performance last Saturday the way alot of people were, I saw the same Floyd that last fought in '07, but, he was busier with the jab(not necessarily doubling or tripling it, just using it more), but I just don't know if his performance last week would be enough to beat the PAC that demolished his most recent two opponents. I understand, PAC fought two guys who were virtual statues, at the same time, we also saw a guy who has vastly improved and has found new ways to beat his opponents.

I don't know if you saw the FMJ fight yet, but, it literally took him 9 rounds to finally throw a 3 punch combination! I don't know if that kind of performance would be good enough to beat PAC though.

sooo. boriqua is clearly a hater of all the boxers that are desrtined for greatness. iceman we can disagree on what went on in the sparing with irish joe mccreedy and no he did not tell me himself that he sparred you it is just a lot of people from the gyms. irish joe mccreedy does not even talk about fools he sparred. he is to busy winning main events

so maybe now is the time to announce irish joey mccreedy best prospect. iceman as great as michael nunn and henry maske and others were, can we at least agree that irish joey mccreedy is right on par? you heard it here first. irish joey for president!!!

Yea, the reason he didn't need to throw more than 3 punches at a time, though, was because JMM wasn't able to really get close enough to force him to do more than he needed...I have to think that if the opponent gets closer PBF will do more as well...

Try not to LEAD with right hooks too often...and if you do then you have to get more body into them, they have to have TORQUE (watch how Roy Jones throws a LEAD hook)...also when you punch straight combinations throw them at where your head would be...walk right up to the bag and look where your face is...then step back and use that spot as a guide, in that video you are subconsciously punching at where your stomach would be...it's more difficult -and better for your training- to punch straight in or slightly upwards rather than on a downward angle...
