    Hi Ice.

I got a trainingquestion. How many sparringrounds would you recommend for fighters preparing for a championship fight? I read that Pauls Williams usually spars 50-60 rounds while Mikkel Kessler often has sparred 120+ rounds which to me sound like a little to much.

So many guys have different approaches to this..I guess u could say whatever works best for a guy... I know that Vinny Paz and James Toney always sparred a lot before fights (JT and I sometimes used to to SEVEN minute rounds)...I have heard that Sugar Ray Leonard didnt spar every much for his fights...I myself used to spar as much as I posibly could before fights... so, yea, I guess it depends on the guy. Me, as a trainer, I always say that I would like my boxers to get in at least 50 rounds -AT LEAST- in preparation for a fight

I am going to go with my gut feeling that K-Pav looks bad and clumsy at times, learns some things along the way, maybe gets off the floor to do it, but will win a decision in a fight that sees him being very determined on the way to just overpowering B-Hops

                      Wonderful stuff, Iceman.

I think one of the reason I think you're so liked on here is because you have so much humility and humbleness. Which is sort of at odd with people in the boxing world....fighters and trainers are so egotistical, it can sometimes detatch fans from them, I think.

Were you ever overly arrogant, Ice? I mean, you must have been. A peak, prime Iceman who had hung with the Jones' and Leonards of this world, and who was amazingly good looking. Be honest- were you a ****y bastard?

One more thing, Ice. You never asnwered my questions on Joe Calslapstick. What do you really think of him?

                      Cheers, man.
