Lewis the coward turned down 25 million dollars because he is scared of Vitali and he knew he would get KO'd in a rematch.
Vitali scared Lewis into retirement

The fight I want to see is either Vitali or Wladimir vs. Valuev.
Maybe it can happen, if JC Gomez and Oner will accept some step aside money an fight for an imterim title instead.
Or maybe Vitali should just drop the title and go for Valuev.

It would prove he could beat up an old fat guy....that's about it. I'm not sure what Vitali is going for here. He can't possibly believe Lewis would come out of retirement, at his age and weight (he looks like a whale) just to let Vitali beat him up for a few rounds.
Maybe it's just revenge motivated...after all, Lewis is the only guy ever to do any serious damage to Vitali. But he has to know it's worse than pointless to even mention it, much less pursue it.
I'm in hopes he gets his head on straight in the next few weeks and either makes the fight with Gomez, or Valuev. I think I'd probably prefer to see the Gomez matchup, but I also think I'd like to see how he handles someone as big as Valuev almost as much.
Best case scenario, he makes the fight with Gomez, then Valuev some months later, and then takes on maybe Haye, or Aureola, then retires again after his final "splash" in the division.
Worst case scenario, he goes back into retirement and the belt he just won is up for grabs again. Nothing to me either way, really.

Money is not a problem for Vitali. It's only icing on the cake.
He wants to revenge his loss. This fight would end in a KO win round 1 for Klitschko... I think he realizes there's no way Lennox is coming out of retirement... This is just talk.
Though would be great if he'd just fight. Saying he wants to fight only Valuev or someone who's most definitely not coming out of retirement is a bit sad.Last edited by damian5000; 10-15-2008, 11:37 AM.

Vitali seems obsessed with bizarre contests.
'Hey I want to be Mayor of Kiev, a town synonimous with garlic stuffed chicken'.
Oops, lost that.
'I know, I'll try to get a rematch with a guy 6-7 years older than me who's been retired for even longer than I have'.
What's next Vitali? You should take on Mohamed Ali. There's some unfinished business there.
That makes Hulk wince. Grow up Vitali and focus on something reasonable.
Grarrarararrrr!
