The faxt i, the dr was wrong, he gave at least 2 different reasons for stopping the fight neither of them valid. They were based on Klitschko not being able to see, because he had no control over his EYELID.......... This of course was patently untrue, and a real "bloomer" of a mistake.
Klitschko almost certainly didn't hear the doctors thin, reedy voice with all the hubbub in the corner in several languages, none of them English, and in the background the huge swell of the thousands of fans in the arena. Probably didn't even notice him. he had several people shouting into both ears in several languages. You may recall that Klitschko's almost negligible English failed him in the after fight interview. He just kept repeating the few English words he knew. He was really distraught. I was very sorry for him. A true warrior.
