  • Kennedy McKinney, the King of one punch comebacks

McKinney was a very good fighter, he was involved in some very good lesser known fights.

        Apparently..

I've actually never heard of this guy..

Holy **** from those 2 clips I see he was involved in some excellent fights..
We need more fighters like that.

The first fight was going at a furious pace in the championship rounds..

Ncita seemed pretty good in that clip as well.. He was slipping very well until he got clipped..

        NICE CLIPS BRO!

If you liked those, watch his fight with Marco Antonio Barrera. One of my all time favorite fights.

A true B.A.D classic, and i believe it was one of the first ever B.A.D cards

It was actually the first B.A.D. card. What an amazing fight that was, the referee went on to call McKinney the bravest fighter he had ever seen.

McKinney was in many great wars, took a lot of punishment but always went out on his shield. Reminds me in a lot of ways of Kevin Kelley, another one of my all-time favorites.

McKinney was a very good fighter, involved in some wars, as already mentioned his fight with Barrera, which was on the first ever BAD, was a classic fight. He was also a gold medalist in the 1988 Olympics.

Kevin Kelley was actually the guy who suggested that HBO make the fight between McKinney and Barrera for their first ever BAD, good call from the Flushing Flash.
