Me either, Danny is a tough guy, for sure. Only thing that bothered me about that fight is whether Potter knew Danny had dislocated his shoulder. If it'd been me, and I did know that Williams had pulled his left shoulder out like that, I'd have refused to continue even at the risk of being DQ'd, rather than throw punches at a guy who isn't at his best. To me, even if I'd won, I'd have felt like we were both cheated. Him, because of the injury itself, and me because I wasn't able to prove myself against him at his best. Sportsmanship is largely missing in pretty much all professional sports today. There is still the occasional glimpse, but they're rare, and easily missed.

That is not really embarrassing since Cotto was fighting against a guy naturally bigger then him. Plus, how is it embarrassing to lose to a guy who beat other champions like Cintron? Or are you saying it was embarrassing the way Cotto quit?

The way in which Klitschko lost was more embarassing, he just had to stand up for the rest of the fight to win.

But Tyson's loss was pretty embarassing as well, losing to a 42-1 underdog, not only losing but getting beat up for the majority of the fight was embarassing.

Tyson undertrained and underestimated a motivated but 42 to 1 underdog while being the undisputed heavyweight champion of the world. That loss is much more embarrssing than suffering and injury and quitting rather than chance making it permanent in my opinion. One was legitimately hurt, the other never put the time in to make a sincere effort.

Couldn't Vitali have just ran around the ring like silencer said to win a decision against chris byrd?

He was far enough ahead to give away the remaining rounds and still would have won a decision, he didn't know that though.

Id say vitali, people cant deny that buster came in to that fight in great shape and fought a brilliant fight, vitale came into that fight undefeated with 27 wins all by knockout bryd was already tko,d by ike and hadn't beat a decent fighter yet. Tyson was getting dominated pretty much the entire fight and obviously lost, vitali dominated every round and lost by not getting hurt by a single punch, you cant really lose anymore embrassing then that.

He should have assumed he was ahead since he was battering Chris Byrd... He only wouldn't have been ahead if there was crooked judges.

These things really can't be assumed in boxing, I mean one judge had Tyson winning the fight against Douglas and one had it even.
