I'm not sure how accurate the blow stories are, but he's certainly not been focused in his career, that's for sure. One thing he will bring, if he does win the title, will be a colourfulness that we don't often see. A lot of champs, past and present, seem to lack personality, Gomez is a fun kind of guy. The Gloria Estefan loving Gomez, will be a welcome surprise to the division. He will also make a bit of history as being the first Cuban heavyweight champ of course. You never know, we could even have a 'King of the Cruiserweights' one day, with him and Haye. But unlike Haye, Gomez has earned his chance, and Haye will need to prove himself.

      Go Black Panther!

That's probably what will happen if they fight.

I like what Paul said about the Hide fight.

It sounds churlish to say because Hide only did that for one round, but that could be replicated by a guy who didn't have the chin of a 8 year old girl or the concentration of a crackhead....ooops.

But yeah from what I have seen of Gomez he has a chance. The best chance I'd think of beating Vitali.

              Gomer Pyle?

As much as id like to see anyone beat either of the 2 ***gy Klits, Gomez aint the guy to do it.

This guy doesn't have enough balls to make 1/2 a sissy.

Gomez went to a football game and snorted up the whole 30 yard line!
He's a fat, lazy, worthless tub of goo! My 13 year old boy (6' 3" 315 lbs....no bull****!) would twist his head off....

He's a record padder for Klit. end of story!

The fight probably wont come off but if it does I'd expect a KO win for Vitali.
