The fighters that Mike had a tendency to have difficulties with have the same traits as Vitaly. Long reach, tall, heavy and could lean on Mike, it would be a tough call especially when we factor in the ‘prime’ part to Tyson…he’s become a joke but many still remember THE prime Tyson as the bobbing, weaving, combo-throwing, well conditioned Mike…that version would be hell for ANY fighter to beat including Vitaly…the fight could look like the Lewis fight (doubt it since Vitaly isn’t as polished) or it could be like the Ruddock bout where Mike just basically beat up his bigger opponent

I have a hard time believing that Vitali could KO Tyson when Vitali couldnt even really hurt Byrd.

I think it would go to decision actually. Vitali has a good jaw and WOULD be hard to hit. that doesnt mean he wouldnt get hit though, or that he would automatically win. Tyson could win fights by decision, and had an awesome body attack.

If you want to see how prime Tyson would do against Vitali, you should probebly look at his fight vs. Tony Tucker. Tucker was 6'5 and a pretty damn good fighter around the time Tyson beat him...he has wins over Buster Douglas, Orlin Norris and Oliver McCall.

I dont really know who you could compare Tyson to, that Vitali fought. Peter may have somewhat the same body type, but they fought nothing alike, and he pretty much sucks compared to Tyson.
