pavlik is not clever enough or athletic enough to land consistantly on bernard. He will need to land hard, clean and often to KO, hes not a one-punch ****er, and i just dont see how he could land that many punches. Bernard will get outpointed, but not out boxed or outfought.

Pavlik actually is pretty slow. Not exactly Valuev-like slow, but pretty slow and quite predictable.

If you think Hopkins will be knocked out by a one dimensional fighter like Pavlik, you have a lot of homework to do when it comes to boxing.

It's just that people WANT to see him get knocked out. They're not realistic, or they lack the knowledge.

Pavlik is not as skilled as Calzaghe, although almost as active, he doesn't have the ability to create enough openings to hurt Hopkins. And when is the last time you've really seen someone hurt Hopkins in the first place? It's not going to happen.

As far as the winner of this fight. I never count out Bernard Hopkins. "At the end of the day" it's all up to his age.

Pavlik was already down against Taylor and some other guy so a knockdown is not out of question. I believe Pavlik will come back though and take the win. Hopkisn will not be able to finish Pavlik.
