hes top 20 for sure. the calzaghe/jones winner would be good for chad but that will be unlikely. IMHO i think 168 is the ideal weight for him, alot more fights for him there, kessler, bute, taylor, miranda will all be good matchups for him.

If Kelly Pavlik is P4P No5, then Chad is an ATG.

I seriously dont understand why Dawson isnt more highly thought of in the states.

Because unlike Pavlik he never dethroned the reigning, linear champion in dramatic fashion. That is until he gets a crack at Calzaghe.

With the wins he has he definetly should be at the top 10 P4P right now. Adamek, Johnson, and Tarver are no slouches in the lighty heavyweight division. Especially for a young fighter. Plus Skills pay the Bills and Dawson has alot of Skills. Look for Hopkins, Calzaghe, and Jones to stay FAR FAR away from Chad Dawson. They'd rather have their little tournament of celebrity boxing.

So what? Jermain Taylor was an accident waiting to happen. Good wins, yeah but enough to make him P4P top 5? Get to ****

I rate Chads wins over Adamek, Johnson and Tarver over that

he has the skills to be in the top 10, but I feel ONE more GOOD win should put him in there. What I find funny is all these bandwagon Paul Williams fans crying about how Paul should be in the top 10 wont give Dawson the same respect.

Adamek is a nobody, Johnson and Tarver are both world class, but old men. That and the Johnson win was VERY close.
Taylor was the champ, Kelly beat him convincingly twice. Miranda also was a very hot prospect before Kelly got to him.
I agree with you that Chad is something special, but IMO right now Kelly is more dominant a MW than Chad is a LHW.

Dawson is knocking on the door. Another impressive win over a good name, and he pretty much is in.
