Corrie Sanders took a pretty bad beating as well and never once looked to quit. He was still swinging wildly in the hopes of connecting with something big. People talk about Peter's incredible power and the man quits instead of going for broke.

I remember distinctly that Peter called Wlad a coward for not fighting like a man or something to that effect after their match. It's ironic that Peter is the one quitting like a punk after all his smack talk.

Go to 1'52m in to see his arm come out of the socket and watch Danny say "quit? Fuck off - I'm Danny Williams!"

****, I knew nothing about this fight -- Danny is my new hero!

"Warrior" doesn't even describe the guy!

Funny post also, Anorak. Green K given. The Khan sig had me laughing too.

          Sam Peter is another Tua.....

Time for him to fight nothing but club fighters on a fairly regular basis and then complain that no title shot is coming

Well, he did grab a belt though.

I would say he is more of another brewster (wink, wink)

Brewster actually defended his belt a number of times successfully

Many think Brewster should've lost it in his first defence though.

                  Actually, I'm one of them.

But it wasn't one-sided like Peter's fight, and his subsequent KOs certainly made him a fun champion to watch, even if he's not as skilled as say a Klitschko

Sam Peter is up there with the worst champions.

He struggled to beat James Toney in a title eliminator, won the rematch, struggled with McCline for the interim title, won the title from a 39 year old Maskaev who had been inactive for a year...

and then in his first defense lost it to Vitali, a fight that he didn't win a single round in, quitting after 8 rounds of being dominated by a 37 year old man who had not fought for 4 years.
