Enzo Calzaghe, trainer of Joe Calzaghe and other UK fighters, has taken a hefty swing an WBO/IBF heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko, calling him the worst heavyweight champion that he ever saw. He says that David Haye beating Klitschko would not be an impressive accomplishment. And went as far as to say that he could beef up his son Joe, who would probably beat Klitschko. [details]

All I can say is that I pretty much dismiss anything that Enzo says. He's a clown and shouldn't be taken seriously.

Bad Statment, I was reading an interview with in the Ring and he had the cheek to say he was worse than Primo Canera, and he said i could move my son up to heavyweight and he would beat Wlad!

Boxing fans are inclined to make fun of Carnera, because he was a nice minded, simple soul, who believed everything he was being told by his handlers, who in the end skinned him like a rabbit leaving him with nothing. The movies about him portrayed him as a ******ed imbecile, handled by gangsters, who couldn't fight at all, which, actually was not true.

The FACTS are, that he wasn't a bad fighter at all, had a good left jab, was rather nimble on his feet, especially for such a big man. His fight against Baer was, of course a disaster, but note that he had immense heart, and kept getting up.

When you consider the bad heavyweight champions, Primo should not be on that list. I'd say he was somewhere in the middle.

Whatever are you all talking about? Klitschko is garbage... Sam Peter is no fighter.. did you all not see the fight against Peter?! That was the worst championship fight in the history of the sport. Klitshcko holding his hands low, looping hooks, leaning forward... come on.. Klitschko is a damn joke. The heavyweight division is soft.. why do you think old ass James Toney and Holyfield fought for so long...Oliver McCall, Michael Moore, Holyfield, Toney and Rahman are all dead men walking RANKED HEAVYWEIGHTS.. Calzaghe probably couldnt beat Klitschko but there are probably a half dozen light heavies who could. Chris Henry fights at light heavyweight and stepped up for one fight to put down a super heavy... Haye did the same thing. Klitschkos aint ****.. 90% of the heavies aint **** and yes Klitshko was one of the worst ever heavies against Peter.
