Hopkins Vs. Taylor III ?? That is if Hopkins can get past Pavlik..

As much as i like Jeff Lacy, but after his last incident i'm a little suspect, i wouldn't mind seeing Jermaine Taylor beating "Lefthook" Lacy

RJJ vs. Calzaghe?? Duuuudddee...i am SO NOT A CALZAGHE fan!! I hope RJJ lays him out to dry.

Hopkins vs. Taylor again?? Wouldn't that be a mis-match?

For Taylor you mean? If it's the same Taylor we saw in the rematch with Pavlik, then yes, I think Taylor wins by a decent margin.

And what if Taylor beats Lacy impressively? (likely)

Hopkins, Calzaghe, and Taylor are all coming off wins. Hell, throw Dawson in the mix as well since he just won.

Who does Hopkins fight next, if he doesn't retire?

Not Calzaghe, as I doubt there's any demand for a rematch there... in this scenario, with Pavlik just losing, hopefully we'd see Calzaghe/Dawson.

Maybe Hopkins goes after Dawson himself? If he has just beaten Pavlik, what's to stop him from wanting to school another young buck?

Or... OR... would there be ANY interest in Hopkins/Taylor III?

The first two fights were hotly contested. Hopkins probably still feels robbed, and Taylor probably still feels slighted that Hopkins never conceded victory to him. Hopkins has since claimed he "ruined" Taylor, which there is some evidence of, although we may have seen Taylor rising from that ruin in his last fight. Obviously Taylor could still benefit from trying one last time to decisively beat Hopkins (which at this stage, I think he could do). On the flipside, another fight with Hopkins could mentally ruin him, again.

Basically, for Taylor, Hopkins is the monkey that he has yet to get off his back.

For Hopkins, he could end his career by avenging the controversial losses that hit him the hardest - the ones that ended his reign as middleweight champ.

I might be going crazy, but I think I'd actually like to see this fight. Anyone else? Any predictions on who would come out on top? And would it be decisive this time?

          Thoughts?

Nah...I'm sure Chad or AA are more important.

So far my ridiculous scenario is coming true... Hopkins won, Jones lost... now Taylor has to win in order to set up a potential Hopkins/Taylor trilogy...

Not to mention Taylor has done a 180 on the possibility of such a fight... immediately after the first two, he said he was "done with Hopkins" and expressed no interest in a threepeat.

                But now:

When asked if a third about against 'The Executioner' interests him, he responds," Of course it interests me. But I don't think he would make that fight. I'd fight him a third time, no problem. He always makes for exciting fights because he tries to get in your head. If you let him get in your head. he'll do it."
