Very solid post. Spinning the truth doesn't change it, you take your loss like a man, come back and redeem yourself. That's how a true fan, not a fan of particular fighters, would look at it.

About keeping his hands up, I don't think that's his particular style, he's so long that just pulling away from punches accomplishes that goal.

Watching him fight Peter I had forgotten just how low he keeps his hands. Pulling away works just fine for him against normal sized HWs, but against a large one like LL, not so well. For that particular fight against a large, talented, hard hitting HW, he needed to make some adjustments. He didn't, so he lost.

Byrd forced a 7 month lay-off for the big Klit. How do you explain that kind of punishment.

Lewis avenged his 2 defeats, but Klit is too yellow, and will duck Byrd for the rest of his career.

While I'm not the biggest Lewis fan in the world, the cuts created around Vitali's eye was caused by a punch and unless I'm mistaken if a fight is stopped due to cuts caused as a result of a punch then it's officially a legit TKO. Vitali quit against Byrd with an injury, that's excusable but Lewis did truely beat him. If you disagree with the idea of fights being stopped you need to petition the boxing commission and not make ****** threads claiming Vitali has never been beaten when Lewis clearly stopped him.
