Just for clarification if vitali decides to "retire" again where does his belt go to? i really am not clued up on that kinda thing. do the challenger and the no1 ranked have to fight for it?

At present, Juan Carlos Gomez and Chris Arreola are the WBC two top challengers, so they should be in line if Vitali vacates. Now, that would be a fun fight. Peter will probably drop quite a few places, generally they tend to forget losing champs in a hurry. But, as always with the alphabetics, you can never take anything for granted.

I totally agree with your position on the 2 brothers holding all the belts. I think it HAS to be good that VK has returned to thje ring, and we'll see some prwtty exciting fights from him.

Yes, you are right of course about the brother "padding" more exhibitions than anything else. Isn't there a well authenticated report that Rocky Marciano's brother (or step-brother, or brother-in-law) had a few "fights" with him under assumed names, providing some easy KO's?? What do you knw about this, you'd be in the way of this sory of news.

I know as much as anyone...it's rumored but I've never looked for proof too hard.
