At the moment we just act like Vic Darchinyan isn't a tool and is a p4p fighter; morons pay $50 to see Mundine beat Argentinian cabbies and swallow promise after promise about his next fight being against a prime Marvin Hagler; Kostya Tszyu is making a come-back; Sakio Bika is not a disgrace; etc etc.

And yeah, we just keep trying to steal foreign fighters, actually worked pretty well in the past.

Just think if Vic can miracously pull of the win against Mijares, you will all be set down there.

Just my opinion, but I dont think you need a top 10 guy to be a fan. Ricky hatton is way more interestign the Joe, and as long as he keeps fighting he will continue to be. If ricky can get a fight with ODLH it will be 10X bigger and more interesting to follow then Joe's outings against senior citizens Roy and Bhop.

He needs to get a matchup with Pacman. He is getting to the point where he needs to think about himself and lineup a couple of huge money fights, because I think he's on the tail end of his career. Unless Floyd Sr. magically turns him into a boxer.

I wouldnt really say there is a nationalisit following of fighters in America. I mean just look at Floyd vs Haton, no one in America really gave a **** about it being a fight between fighters from two nations, even if the fight was sold like. There is toooo much diversity in America, for the whole nation to follow one single fighter.

Being a huge fan of VIC, i agree with you about his attitude. I would prefer if he toned it down a bit, but I guess its his way of making noise. I like Mijares a lot, but I hope Vic cann pull of a miracle to shake things up a bit. Funny thing: I was on some Australian site (though google, I cant even remeber how I got there) where everyone was convinced that Vic was easily going to beat Mijares. I tought to myself that he must have some hardocre fans if they feel like he is the favoirte going in against CM.
