Carbajal - Gonzales I was at 108 lbs and it was a great fight that was turned around with one punch.
I have a hard time watching any boxer who has no punching power, whether it's at strawweight or heavyweight. There are exceptions of course, like the man in my signature Billy Conn.Comment

That I can understand. Watching overweight giants lean on each other can be just as bad as watching midgets. A 175 lb chiseled and trained fighter is a beautiful thing to watch.
However, some HWs are in good shape and fight with good technique. Vitali, Wlad, old Lennox, Bowe, etc., These are 250 lb chiseled men with great technique.Comment

you should quit boxing and go watch MMASee, everyone has a limit. Mine is welterweight, though I do watch down to lightweight if there's nothing better on.
But the higher the weight, the better the fight. A HW fight keeps me on the edge of my seat. IT can turn at any second. There's no need to throw a thousand punches when you're looking to get one good one in.
nice knowin ya!!

Good question. Miranda and AA are both ridiculous punchers for middleweight. I don't love AA's style but I respect how it works for him. Miranda is a little sloppy but comes to fight.
I'd say AA-Miranda was more exciting because there was suspense and the KO was more of a surprise.
Vitali-Peter was too repetitive. but still I enjoyed watching Vit's skill and power as well as hoping Peter could land a clubbing punch and/or catch Vit's feet crossed (Vit did have unsteady footwork for parts of the fight)Comment

There is some precious element of drama seeing these men, the titans of the boxing, the best fighters in the world go at it.
You cant have that at lower weights, it is almost like seeing a couple of pre pubescent boys go at it in the school yard. It might mean the whole world to them, but you just watch it with a smirk on your face.Comment
