Well you have a prime, undefeated, 26 year old Dawson beating a 40 year old Tarver that was smoked by an old Hopkins moving up two weight classes, over 2 years ago. And on the other, a 37 year old Vitali, after 4 years without a single fight, beating a 28 year old, #2 HW in the world.

And you're question my pick as to which win was more impressive?

I have to agree with that. There really is no comparison.

And the ones who voted for Dawson are american nuthuggers, I assume?

I like Dawson. I think he's the future of the LHW division, along with maybe Dirrell. I think Chad would outpoint Kessler, and probably be more than the declining Calzaghe could handle at this point. Tarver was a good win, but what Vitali did was historic in several ways.

Vitali simply because I didn't expect him to be this good considering the 4 year lay off. Dawson was same ol Dawson...I didn't see much difference.

Top shape, young, prime Dawson beating up a slower, over the hill, and already schooled by Hopkins Tarver, is not as impressive as a 37 year old Vitali, coming out of a 4 year retirement, and putting on a clinic performance, and making a reigning champion quit on his stool.

Vitali coming through camp was most impressive.

Dawson for me. He dominated Tarver who is a more live opponent. Vitali's was good too but i just think the style was all wrong for Peter.
