Agreed. Vitali is a just a much better fighter than Peter. My only question was whether the lay off would hurt Vitlali. It sure didn't look like it. If anything it probably helped his body. I did win a few bets on this fight. I've always said that Vitlali and Wlad are very different personalities and it shows in the ring. Vitali has no fear of getting hit and appears to be the stronger of the two.I do wonder if he will fight anytime soon again. Judging by his comments he didn't seem sure. I would like to see him get rid of Valuev. The size of the two would make an intersting match up though.

I like Vitali, he's probably my 3rd favourite at the weight and he is twice the man his brother is in the ring.
But i think Valuev gives him real problems, coz Klitchko as good as he is (and i think he's the man to beat) aint very good technically - he just realies on his size advantages which wouldnt be there against The Beast from the East (who i hate) Vitali is quicker and hits harder but man he has no defence or nothing he's got so many flaws in his game its unreal but he can get away with them due to his size, would he get away with them against Valuev?

Possibly but only coz Valuev moves at the same pace as my dead gran!

Dude was gonna get ruined if he didn't get KO'd. I wouldn't blame him for givin up if he had actually made the slightest effort to rep his belt and fight like a champ. Peter just accepted his role as ring ***** and went out like a *****.
