Have him and Matt Godfrey sparred, and if so how did it go? If not, how would you envision a fight between the two since they are only a division apart and Chad has a natural height advantage? Would Godfrey be to strong? dawson to fast?

You know, for the few first months I was on this board, I thought "IceMan John Scully" just happened to be a very good storyteller.....then I thought (from the responses from posters) that the stories were actually anecdotes...

I wasn't actually entirely sure until I saw a fight of the "Iceman" on ESPN a couple (or few) months ago on ESPNClassic.

Yes, I have seen Chad spar Matt Godfrey, too, as well as 2008 Olympian Demetrius Andrade. Matt is a bigger guy, two totally different weight classes. He woul dobviously have his hands full with Chad and vice-versa

The truth is that...I trained Chad until Gary Shaw literally STOLE HIM AWAY...just another dirty part of the business...it's a long story, fully covered in my book but, basically, I was training Chad, we had a very good gym relationship and, if I do say so myself I do take A LOT of credit for helping Chad with his jab, his body shots and his right hook. Especially the jab and body shots...both of which he had a lot of potential with but didn't use them with real professionalism when I started training him...I can point to SPECIFIC examples of where he turned the corner with me in regards to the jab and body shots (I keep Diaries remember ...but, whatever, Shaw moved in and that was it...Chad still wanted me to train him but I had other fighters, a baby daughter, etc etc....I would have had to seriously alter my training schedule and my life in general and I chose not to do that at that time. And that was that

woooow..........crazy, so i mean, when a promoter like Gary Shaw steps in, do they make new suggestions as far as who should be training the fighter now??

im a loyal person and would be against changing trainers just cuz my promoter thinks he knows whats best
