I dont think Mundine is better than the Tarver that Dawson beat nor the Adamek that Dawson beat.

I thought Dawson lost the Johnson fight, so I dont count that as a win.
Kessler hardly lost a round vs. any of them and Lucas, Beyer and Siaca was KO'ed. To the Mundine win one might add the fact that Kessler travelled around the world, fought with a bad back an still got a clear decision in his opponents back-yard.

Dawson really hasn't that kind of resume in my book. Beating a weight drained Adamek, a 40 year-old Tarver and a controversial decision win over Johnson who was soundly outpointed by Sven 'Slugger' Ottke doesn't reach Kessler's level IMO.

to me, more competitive wins over better fighters is more impressive than dominant wins over less impressive fighters.

      but it doesnt really matter.

and cmon, you know as well as everyone else that the Glen of 175lbs wasnt the same as the Glen in his journeyman days. but he beat Dawson anyway.

Dawson is improving all the time
At this moment in time, I would pick Kessler.

          I know

Thanks for posting the Adamek vid BTW. I think Kessler's footwork is much better than Adamek's. I believe a Kessler vs.Dawson fight would be a very good technical affair. I cannot see Dawson win by KO but I can see Kessler stopping Dawson.

Anyway it would be a good skillful fightA joy to watch for hardcore fans.

this fight should be made although kessler has been holed up in Europe and isn't proving anything to anyone.

              therefore I got Dawson.

You should stop watching boxing. Seriously.

Comparing Mundine, Siaca Beyer and Lucas to Dawson, Adamek and Tarver.

                The **** outta here...

yea, Adamek is a little slower and more plodding but Id say he has more power. his knockout over Ulrich was ugly. and of course with him at Cruiserweight and everything, hes a bit bigger.

I would love to see Kessler vs. Dawson, but I doubt Kessler's management/the WBA would ever make the fight happen. And I dont remember ever hearing Dawson call out Kessler either, so sadly this fight might not happen.

I can't even imagine how this fight would look. Dawson is not even bigger imo. He has the edge in handspeed he punches to score like Calzaghe. Kessler is more accurate and orthodox.

Good potential fight, a real pick'em
But Dawson wouldn't have survived those two monster uppercuts that Calzaghe ate.
