The Best Kessler vs. the Best Dawson...who wins?

With all due respect, who has Kessler beaten remotely close to Dawson? I'd take wins over Adamek, Tarver and Johnson over a loss to Calzaghe, thanks.

For starters: Johnson got soundly outpointed by Sven Ottke.

I think that Kessler's championship run is more impressive than Dawson beating Adamek and Tarver TBH.

This is a good match that could actually be made. Somehow, I don't expect it to happen. But if it did, Dawson befuddles Kessler easily. Maybe even hurts him a bit with those body shots. Kessler is simply too mechanical and not diverse enough to handle Dawson.

Dawson would look like a million dollars until round three or so, when Kessler tags him, turns him into a zombie for 30 seconds, which is more than enough time for Kessler to stop him brutally

At 175, it's tough to write how good Kessler would be. He might lose just a bit at Light Heavy. Kessler throws nice shots in bunches and he seems to able to take a shot pretty well.

Chad has explosive power with great ring generalship. He can mix it up behind a very nice jab. Chad seems more durable than Kessler. With that being written my pick is Chad by a unanimous decision.

I respect Kessler now. But most of you guys talk about him stopping Dawson, correct. Kessler couldn’t stop Mundine and his chin is a lot worse than Dawson and defence is ****. Kessler was hurt by a Calzaghe body shot and hurt by Dimitri Sartison. The only time Dawson was down were flash knock down and NEVER WAS REALLY HURT.

I got Dawson in UD. Kessler is too much of a basic boxer, Dawson would land combos at will like Calzaghe did.

I think it would be a pretty good fight but I think Dawson would end up the victor. Kessler is good but i think Dawson is the better technicians and the bigger man. I think Kessler would have his moments as Dawson is kind of inconsistent from round to round or even minute to minute. Over the course of the fight I would expect Dawson to win more rounds though and get the decision, I think both guys are good enough, proud enough and tough enough to see the final bell.
