I respect your opinion and think you're a great poster but do you really feel Dawson vacated to AVOID Diaconu and not to fight Tarver?

Dawson has been chasing Tarver around for years to prove himself and the opportunity finally presented itself.

Would you have opted to fight Diaconu instead of Tarver if you were in Dawson's shoes?

At the time I said it was economics that guided his decision. I still think that. But a bad taste is still left, as Dawson could have paid Diaconu off and agree on fighting him after Tarver. He didn't. Instead he just chickened out and vacated.

Actually, I wasn't dissing Kessler. I was pointing out that Americans often diss their fighters pretty bad (Jermain Taylor) and ride them for not being impressive. That's why I said half of us would laugh at him.

Just because you've heard and seen a few criticisms of US fighters where you are, doesn't mean you have an accurate parameter for how much that happens in other countries - to lecture on how it is as a whole.

I didn't say it was Kessler's best opponent. I said it was the fight in which I think Kessler looked the best. Don't put words in my mouth please.
