I don't view him as a coward. I do now however view him as being not mentally tough. But coward, that's a little harsh. It takes tremendous, tremendous guts to even step inside that ring. And unless you do everything in your power to get yourself out of the fight by getting dq'd or something, then I'd say he took his beating like a man for 8 rounds. Before his will was completely shattered.
