What Pavlike doesn't wanna do is LEAVE the middleweight division to Abraham - a IBF middleweight champion who already has over 5 title defenses on his record. He could move up and Abraham could keep on winning, racking up more title defenses and MAYBE going down in history as a decent Middleweight Champ.

Leave no questions unanswered, and beat Abraham to unify the title is what he needs to do. That's his last challange at 160.

Agree completely. Pavlik needs to unify before he makes another bout and cement his place in the MW division. Moving up, with his size, is inevitable. I just think AA needs to be his next focus. I think it is too soon for talks, from what I gather, to be talking Pav/Dawson.

The only way this happens is if Dawson agrees to a catchweight or moves down to 168 IMO, I doubt Pavlik would move up to 175 to fight him. Anyways, I'll get a much clearer picture of how effective Pavlik is at a higher weight after his fight with Hopkins, right now I'm going with Dawson but if Pavlik is impressive against Hopkins, I could change my mind.
