He has star power written all over him. Good looking guy. PERFECT representative of what the sport has to offer as far as skills, he's a family guy and he normally rocks the red and white and blue trunks. So much potential.

Id like to see how Pavlik does at 170 first. If he is basically the same fighter, i would pick him to win.

Dawsons chin isn't the best, and that Pavlik jab right hand would be effective.

Dawsons defense is real flimsy. He holds his hands up, but he doesnt block ****. It would be a fantastic fight though, i think Dawsons activity could give Pavlik fits early, before things start to level out midway through the fight

Hard to make a prediction on this til I see how Pavlik looks physically at 170 against Hopkins. For now I'd have to say chad. Kelly may not have all his pop at full blown LHW, and he wouldn't outbox chad imo. Dawson UD.

Not only that but Taylor( in their rematch) fought Pavlik the exact same way that Dawson fought Tarver. I just imagine a bigger, faster, physically stronger and better skilled version of that. No doubt that it would be a great fight, and Dawson would have a lot of problems if he traded with Kelly the way he did with Glen Johnson. If he stuck to his game plan, then i could see a decisive decision win for him.

I said it in another thread; I ****ing love Pavlik but Dawson is a class above. Too quick, too much movement, too big.

This is my Problem with Abraham. How in the Hell is he going to deal with Pavlik Jab..!

And Abraham biggest Problem is he gets hit too Much, and This is a HUGE Problems against a fighter like Pavlik

That is probably true but it's not about that. What Pavlike doesn't wanna do is LEAVE the middleweight division to Abraham - a IBF middleweight champion who already has over 5 title defenses on his record. He could move up and Abraham could keep on winning, racking up more title defenses and MAYBE going down in history as a decent Middleweight Champ.

Leave no questions unanswered, and beat Abraham to unify the title is what he needs to do. That's his last challange at 160.
