Wow, I guess because YOU watched them, I should convert to the "believers" side. Thanks for the heads up. I want specifics. WHAT, makes Dawson, given his fights and experience, lead you to make that assumption taking in both fighters fights respectively. My question still stands - why WOULD JC fight Dawson? You cannot give me a good reason. I know you can't.

He has no idea. He can't analyze a boxing match cause he's simply a ****** fanboy.

so Basically..any fighter that isn't fast is Tailor made for Joe? I could see Pavlik knocking Joe out at about round 10, After continuously wearing him down. Joe's punches won't hurt Pavlik, Pavliks will hurt Calzaghe. Calzaghe has a high punch out put..so does Pavlik. Calzaghe has decent speed, Pavlik is slower (well, more average). Calzaghe has crappy defense and is not elusive at all, Pavlik WILL land.
No. Pavlik isnt just slow. He walks forward in straight lines. Throws a one-two. Straight up and down no special effects. Calzaghe eats up that style. You could apply the same power principle to Calzaghe/Lacy - you have to actually hit Joe first. Pavlik has a better jab than Lacy which may win him a couple of rounds but I dont see him landing that much at all.

I like Dawson but he lacks the power Pavlik has. He is very fun to watch though. I felt that Glen Johnson hurt Dawson more than Dawson hurt him. Glen Johnson has gotten the shaft quite a bit.

You are now blatantly avoiding my question as I asked it to you specifically twice now. Why WOULD JC fight Dawson should he not retire? I said you CAN'T give me a reason and I think I'm making my point. You can downgrade Pavlik all you want, my question still stands sir.

I dont care about converting you. Think what you want. Dawson is just a far superior fighter to Pavlik. Hes got more to his game. Thats my opinion. Hes also beaten better competition. I seriously dont understand why you lot dont get behind him.

Why would Joe fight Dawson? Cos hes the next best LHW out there. Why the **** else? Is it "state the obvious" day or somethin???

Yes, and he's SO EAGER to do that now-a-days huh? (if ever wanting a PRIME fighter) Dawson has about as much chance at "slappy" as Pavlik does. Pavlik, after beating Hop, will be the first in line for it and you know it. You are laying awake at night PRAYING to God JC retires. First things first their Dirk, your boy still has Roy Jones Jr. in front of him. Before you go picking fights, like you love to do, you better make sure your boy takes care of his business first.

And my question still stands DIRK - WHY WOULD JC TAKE A DAWSON FIGHT? At this stage of his career, given all that would be on the line with little money and purely the belts and heart/legacy at stake - - would Joe ****ing Calzaghe TAKE THAT FIGHT!? **** you, you know he never will. Case closed until you give me a good idea of your thinking other than just saying, "He's the next best LHW."
