i guess it's just his style. i wouldn't say he throws pittypat punches though... he does throw hard.

barely enough to win??? he won every round except round three where tarver actually did a good job......the only other two rounds he lost, he basically LET tarver go to town, trying to prove a point.......he was letting tarver let loose, and talking **** to him, at the same time. what the hell is wrong with you?

alot of his punches were blocked, alot got through (if you watched the fight you could see the reaction on tarver's face when he got hit), he also did a lot of body work (and you cant look at a fighter's body and tell whether he got busted up).

dawson probably doesn't have 1 punch KO power, but his punches definitely have some snap on them, and he throws the ****s like he's trying to take some1's head off. and also, lets give credit where credit is due....antonio tarver has only been knocked down 3 times before tonight, and never stopped, the guy has a helluva chin.........and the commentators also mentioned during the fight that "dawson is a fighter who doesn't look for knockouts, he just wants to win." which is the attitude any fighter who wants to be successful should have.............

He did more than BARELY to win and just as he was going backwards he also was moving forward in this fight - good ebb and flow. As for pitty pats and getting out of the way, give Tarver credit for having a good chin as always and Dawson credit for hitting and not getting hit! That is the goal.
