I thought Tarver was kind of crazy taking this fight. Dawson is in his prime, Tarver must have known he really didn't have much of a shot. I think Tarver just needs the money(hes had fanancial problems in the past) and he figured why not atleast try to beat top young LHW. he probably figured you never know, maybe if I get in great shape...

Roy Jones Jr. is my favorite fighter of all time, but I don't want to see him fight Dawson. I think fighters in their late thirties/early forties should stay away from fighters in their twenties. The age factor is too big 9/10...i mean anythings possible buts not worth it.

Good performance for Dawson.Although I felt that every round he lost on my card was because he let Tarver get the best of those rounds it still was a solid performance for him.As eye catching and affective as Dawson's combo's were I felt he should have thrown more.

No he actually threw alot of very hard snappy punches but tarver has good defense he got hit to the body alot though.

i prolly should have rephrased that..he does BARELY enough to win..but why in dawsons fights is he always going backwards..even against counterpunchers...dawson throws pitty pats and gets out of the way...

dawson should have stoped tarver he had the power and speed if he had just kept fighting instead of taunting tarver to hit him it was obvious what he could have done if you look at the knock down in the last round but it was no point in taking the risk that late in the fight
