tarver didn't look that different to me then he did vs roy.he tried to counter punch his opponent.problem was, he tried to do this against a slightly taller and faster opponent.

yeah but tarver looked old in this fight, he got tired and his punches had no pop behind them. in the Jones fight he was able to pressure Jones and push him onto the ropes, he couldnt do that to Dawson because Dawson kept moving, so the weak-minded Tarver just stod there with his arms up, absorbing combo after combo.

Makes me wonder how much power Dawson has.
He's a good, good boxer, I think he may be lacking in pop a little though.

bad chad DOESNT have power..if anything he will be like holy...who will break you down with combination punching

but dawson had more damage on his face and tarver didnt have a scratch nor was he in any real trouble

i think tarver was wary of commiting and sitting down on his punches.. tarver looked younger that hes been he was moving around the ring for 12 rounds
