well, that's the opposite for most "fans"....

Yeah all of my favorites have lost. I have rarely liked an up and coming guy because they usually haven't fought anyone yet.
I seem to like guys that lose early in their careers, and then come back to win or fight a lot of hard fights so they are bound to lose.

I appreciate Dawson's skills for sure.

Although Tarver has slowed down, Dawson fought very well tonight so I give him credit for winning the IBF title.

We need UNIFICATION fights now at 175 - or, he should give Johnson a rematch because their fight was very close.

I'm still not sold on his chin. I think anyone faster than Tarver with good power has a good chance at knocking him down. I did enjoy his speed and combinations.

Looked like Chad saw he was easily winnin on points and was content to ride the wave. maybe he coulda did more damage if he felt like it, but he didn't need to try and force a KO. Kinda like the Hopkins-Tarver fight. Not a fight where he had to stop Tarver or receive no props for the win, so I won't criticize him. Dude owned Tarver bell to bell, start to finish.
