    If Marg has another year or 2 of dominance in the welterweight division, and beats PWill, then yes. Mayweather, yes, but shouldn't get in on the first ballot, unless he comes back and fights real welters.

      ...in NO WAY is Calzaghe a lock. Undefeated record and all. The Hall has GENERALLY not put it guys who are "best of the past couple of years at his class" (TTN, notwithstanding). The IBHOF has been rewarding transcendant fighters. Guys like Roy or Floyd.

      If Jose F'n Torres is in the HOF (which loves NY fighters), Calzaghe is a sure thing, even if he loses to Jones. Jess Willard? Ingemar Johansson? Those other guys are a lock. But unlike when fights settle disagreements, it will take years to find out who is wrong here.
