now thanks to vitali and how he quit against byrd
all the fighters are doing it. rahman gets a small cut
and he says he can't fight on. are they fighters or not ?!!!
can you imagine dempsey saying oh i got a sore back
oh well .. can't keep fighting, got to protect my back ...
Yep! Rahman is a guy with a huge frame and a very small ticker! Toney had a very bad cut against Littles and we know what he did to Littles in 4th. Even Gatti had the Mississipi poring out his eye but he didn't give a **** and fought on.

Rahman had a little cut and was crying to the ref for the whole of the third round. He knew he was gonna get KOd so pulled out. It was compulsory for the old timers to have busted faces and but yet still fought on like Mickey Walker, La Motta, Marciano, Dempsey and the rest.

If Rahman pulled a stunt like that back in 1900s he would have been barred.

thats another reason boxing isn't as exciting as it used to be ...
there aren't that many real fighters anymore . thats a good example
with James toney. true fighters turn it up when they're under pressure
they dont fold ... vitali is good as long as he's winning from a distance
and doesn't have to eat any leather .. a true fighter can take it
as well as dish it out ...
