Stevie Wonder could have found his chin all night long
Man, you nitpick too much.. You sound like a guy who was rooting for Sam Peter but now in sour g**** mode..

You say all those things against Vit but then why can't Peter do anything about it in the fight?

I just don't get some boxing fans. It's like some of these guys will just always complain even if we saw an unexpectedly good win from a 4-year removed boxer.

Are you even a boxing fan?

Why bring up Tyson and Lewis when both are retired years ago?

I'm not sure what more you want. He totally dominated his opponent, a known dangerous puncher with a single loss, that many people expected to KO a Vitali who'd been off for nearly 4 years, and is 37 years old. Not only that, but he was throwing and landing punches nearly non-stop, outboxing his opponent, proving his superiority with every second he spent in the ring to the point where he never lost even a minute of a round, much less an entire round.

Do you mean that it was just too one-sided? If so, that's understandable, but I still don't know what more you expected from Vitali. Or maybe you didn't feel he was deserving of a title shot? Considering the beating he gave the title holder, I'd say he was deserving.

What I'm saying, I suppose, is that your statement makes no sense unless you give some reasoning along with it.

Even though i havent seen the fight i quite agree with all your points, Some people would try to put you to the sword because of Vitali and wlad but f**k them.

If Lewis were to fight him it wouldn't have looked much different from the Vitali fight, Tyson would have KO'd him early.

I have to agree with this. Not so much that these heavyweights are THAT poor because Wlad and Vitali are a cut above, but it really makes you appreciate Lennox Lewis doesn't it?

Yes, I am a boxing fan. Are you? Or are you just another nut hugger like the majority of people on this site who have no real opinion, but will happily follow the crowd out of fear that someone might disagree.

Believe me, I am no fan of Samuel Peter, never have been and never likely to be so my opinion is not shaped by sour g****s. You say I nitpick too much, I think I just keep a balanced view.
I say those things against Vitali as it is my right to express my opinion and, in my opinion, he did nothing impressive against a man who has to be one of the worst HW champions ever. It's not that I like to complain, I just don't jump on bandwagons.
