I think he definetely has. Wlad fell in on alot of his punches against Thompson, though he may have been panicked by not fighting a smaller man.

I think if Haye beats him, he gets him out of there in the first round when Wlad's heart is in his mouth and it will be, he is not a cool customer, Haye is. After he settles down Wlad should win.

Though a side point, I read in Maxim that Michael Bisping says Haye practices alot of wrestling and Jiu Jitzu, maybe he could strangle Wlad in the clinches...lol

haye has always said that he prefers fighting bigger guys - that way he can see the chin and with his accuracy and power i expect him to tag vlad at least twice with his right - however that being said with vlads skill set and poer i expect him to also tag hay at least twice!!!

against bigger guys david can see the chin and see his target (i.e. enzo macca) vs other fighters like jean marc mormeck and smaller cruiserweights like mormeck he often had problems.

haye imo doesn't have a bad skill set bt its not as good as vlads however his counter punching ability is alot better and if vlad fliick out a lazy jab haye will lan and land heavy while hes stepping in.

i think we'll have a better idea when haye takes on a clever heavyweight like james toney or maybe someone with good handspeed like eddie chambers.

A perfect example of it at 5:10.
i dont agree with his low left either

ive seen a training session recently while he has been on the pads etc and he has been holding his left a lot higher and he has already said he will not drop his left like that at HW so

Haye has enough skill and speed to counter over the top of Wlads jab and counter the right hand when Wlad leaves him self open, I don't worry much about his skill vs Wlad more about his chin he could get Ko'd by Barrett but hopefully not i really want to see Haye vs Wlad.

I think he has the speed and power to do it, if they carry up with him of course, skillwise, Wlad is probably better though.

Lookin' at this fight again, I'm loving it.

That is a great little fight Macca actually rocked Haye a few times and cut him and got knocked down all in about 5 minutes. lol. That was a shootout. **** it, I'd like to see this again.

Haye really won't be take much stick at heavyweight.

its probably wishfull thinking but i think Haye will take a better shot at HW he is never going to be an EH i understand that but i think his chin will improve slightly without not having to make weight and most importantly having a big strong pair of legs under him and a big strong kneck

i think Haye's stamina is going to be a huge question mark i think he will struggle with his stamina at HW and that IMO is when he has been hurt most

his athletic ability and speed want mean **** when or if he gets tired and has to go flat footed

I do hope so, but for now I'm 100% sure a flush Wlad right hand would end things. But Haye could intimidate Wlad in my opinion, I still think Wlad is a pretty vulnerable champ.

                    David Haye is hard.

                      yeah

see this is thing i dont think Wlad will extend himself for the first 3/4 rounds he is going to be looking to avoid the bullet and hold rather than throw back and if Haye gets threw and hurts Wlad i hope he does not throw everything at him incase he makes its through and Haye gets gassed i can really see this happening

on the other hand Wlad could lean all over Haye and hold onto him to get through the early onslaught and then KO Haye later when he is tired
