does Haye have enough skill to overcome the Size deficit v Wlad ?sometimes a great skillset can overcome size but does Haye poccess that great skillset to overcome Wlads size or will he just be relying on his power and Wlads china chops failing the chin checker AGAIN


i think Haye does have a very good skillset he is a very very good counter puncher and he does have a jab believe it or not however i think Wlad fighting tall is going to make it difficult for Haye late on i give Haye a punchers chance untill it goes past the 5th then i got Wlad all the way

No because Vlad has skills. The only knock on Vlad is his suspedt chin and its safe to say Haye's Chin is suspect also.

trust me do not underestimate Haye couter punching ability its what he does best forget his power

I don't have time to contribute a major post, so i'm going to ignore skills sets for now and say that I don't think that the size difference is THAT big: 3 inches of reach between them (not massive), 3.5 inches (at most) height difference, and maybe 10-15 pounds of weight between them.

On paper, at least, those stats aren't TOO dissimilar. Wlad does beat Haye in all of them, though Haye does have other points in which he's superior: his handspeed is the first one off the top of my head.

No. If Haye wins against Wlad he will do it wit power, not skill.

Haye's chance to win is with his power and speed. He isn't that skilled in my opinion but I admit I haven't seen all of his fights.

I guess we will see more of it in the heavyweight division.

We will see about that.

I do know he uses the old Thomas Hearns strategy of leaving his left hand low to lure in opponents and create opportunities to hit them with the right.


A perfect example of it at 5:10.

It also makes him rather easy to hit which could cost him in the heavyweight division.
