I honestly don't want Gerry to take the fight. He will be hurt badly. Juanma isn't just a young sensation in that he's had some awesome break out wins. He CAN box, and he can hurt any fighter at 122lbs. Gerry is really aging and especially for the 122lbs where reflects can make or break you with all these fast fighters. Juanma's right hook is lightning fast. You literally blink and it's over. I don't think Gerry will be able to hang in there with Juanma till the end and he'll get seriously hurt unless he gets KOed early. Also this is coming from a big Gerry Penalosa fan. Gerry should be happy if Juanma doesn't accept it because I'd prefer to see him against a Vasquez or Marquez type.
