Will Juanma be a man...or will he chicken out?

Will he accept the challenge of an aging bantamweight champion or would he rather fight Figueroa-types to mangle again? Penalosa's calling him out, why the sudden silence?

Generally there is a negotiation period...?

A week isn't that long in this kind of thing.

Weird, I was just thinking it's too bad Penalosa is locked up because this would be a good fight for Juanma. I thought he was fighting Mares?

              Here's another reason...

Penalosa lost to Ponce de Leon who Lopez blasted out in 1.

I know styles make fights or whatever, but... I can't imagine a win over Penalosa would really accelerate his career any more than any other opponent not in the top echelon.

                Juanma has NOTHING to fear.
After watching him in recent fights I strongly believe this.

Same with Bautista. Whatever, I'm glad he's not fighting Bautista. I can't imagine many wins that do less for his resume than Rey Bautista.
