    Why not Juanma vs. Penalosa?

Looking at Juanma resume in boxrec, he seems fond of fighting old fighters anyway...

Cesar Figueroa - one-time NABF featherweight champ lost all
his fights at superbantam via KO.

    Daniel Ponce de Leon
    - held the WBO superbantam title, was
beaten by Caballero, had luckluster performances against
Escobedo and bantamweight Penalosa. Never really beat any
    superbantam of note.

    Jonathan Oquendo
    - never held any title of any sort at any
    time.

    Omar Adorno
    - never held any title of any sort at any time and
was on a two fight losing streak (last one via TKO2) before
    facing Juanma.

    Hugo Dianzo
    - held regional belts at bantam, moved up to
superbantam but was 2-3 on his last 5 fights. He was 33 years
    old when he fought Juanma.

    Giovanni Andrade
    - Gets knocked senseless everytime he fights
outside Brazil was 38 years old when he faced Juanma.

Jorge Otero - former WBA federalatin superfly champ, moved up
to superbantam but lost 6 of 8 fights before facing Juanma. He
was 35 when he faced Juanma.

Levi Brea - WBC CABOFE featherweight champ was coming off a KO
loss before facing Juanma, lost every fight thereafter. He was
    30 when he fought Juanma.

Cuauhtemoc Vargas - captured the vacant WBC Continental
Americas super bantamweight title lost it via TKO, he was 33
    when he faced Juanma.

    Jose Alonso
    - former NABA bantamweight champ in 2000,
practically retired, returned in 2005 as a superbantam (had 1
fight). He took another fight in 2006 (lost via TKO) before
facing Juanma - he was 32 years old then.

    Edel Ruiz
    - 28-14-4 when he faced Juanma, he lost 6 of seven
    fights thereafter...need I say more?
