his fights at superbantam via KO.

Daniel Ponce de Leon
- held the WBO superbantam title, was
beaten by Caballero, had luckluster performances against
Escobedo and bantamweight Penalosa. Never really beat any
superbantam of note.

Jonathan Oquendo
- never held any title of any sort at any
time.

Omar Adorno
- never held any title of any sort at any time and
was on a two fight losing streak (last one via TKO2) before
facing Juanma.

Hugo Dianzo
- held regional belts at bantam, moved up to
superbantam but was 2-3 on his last 5 fights. He was 33 years
old when he fought Juanma.

Giovanni Andrade
- Gets knocked senseless everytime he fights
outside Brazil was 38 years old when he faced Juanma.

Jorge Otero - former WBA federalatin superfly champ, moved up
to superbantam but lost 6 of 8 fights before facing Juanma. He
was 35 when he faced Juanma.

Levi Brea - WBC CABOFE featherweight champ was coming off a KO
loss before facing Juanma,lost every fight thereafter. He was
30 when he fought Juanma.

Cuauhtemoc Vargas - captured the vacant WBC Continental
Americas super bantamweight title lost it via TKO, he was 33
when he faced Juanma.

Jose Alonso
- former NABA bantamweight champ in 2000,
practically retired, returned in 2005 as a superbantam (had 1
fight). He took another fight in 2006 (lost via TKO) before
facing Juanma - he was 32 years old then.

Edel Ruiz
- 28-14-4 when he faced Juanma, he lost 6 of seven
fights thereafter...need I say more?
