am i the only one that thinks that pavlik could of beaten the hopkins that lost to calzaghe?

    bernards performance was shockingly great.
i don't recall anyone that thought hopkins was going to win guessing he would win the way he did.

i feel hopkins could of beat anyone with that gameplan that night!

      Yes. Yes you probably are.

In his previous three fights he has fought Tarver, Wright and Calzaghe. His performances in all three tell you about the quality of opponent in all three. Don't you think he would have liked to put on that kind of performance but, um, wasn't allowed to?

Pavlik isn't in their league. That's just the beginning, middle and end of it.

I've always said that when he's "on", Hopkins is one of the best conditioned fighters in the sport today. The Pavlik fight really showcased just what the old man can do.

              Damn I love Hopkins.

Never going to happen. Joe came closer to losing that "0" on the night he faced Bernard than he did when he got the decision against Reid. Too close for comfort, with many thinking Hopkins won it.

Hopkins is dead serious in saying he'll travel to Wales too, if he got to fight Joe. You can see it in his eyes whenever he talks about a rematch with Joe, it's the only thing motivating him at this point.

If he can't land Joe, he'll probably retire. There's really nobody else out there that will spark that fire in him, and without that fire, he won't perform at the best of his abilities.
