Well I predicted that Lennox would cream Tyson, all those years ago...
    http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/talking_point/624331.stm
As George Foreman famously predicted after Tyson's loss to James Buster Douglas he's like "Humpty-Dumpty" and will "never be put back together again." Mike Tyson is a disturbed individual. His once great skills and reflexes have been eroded by age and years of incarceration. What quality opponent has he defeated in the last ten years? I believe Lewis would wipe the floor with him.

I think Tyson might have a good chance.Lennox's jab was good. Tyson's jab was very very good.I think Tyson would have to go for the body and make lots of feints and be ready to counter the openings he creates.

Tyson by UD or maybe by early stoppage,my guess.....

I can't help thinking that Lewis would frustrate Mike four four or five rounds and then start landing killer uppercuts. Lewis KO9.

I honestly couldn't see Tyson beating any version of Holyfield or Lewis. They both were very tough elite fighters and B- fighters like Tucker and Jose Rabilita gave a prime Tyson all he could handle and he did not beat one elite fighter in his prime. He was very talented and could have been something more, but Don King really matched him soft when he was peaking.

Tony Tucker went the distance with Lewis,6 years after fighting Tyson-and this with two years of inactivity and a serious ******* problem...

Tucker was getting a boxing lesson from an unmotivated Douglas as well before he quit, and that was actually when he was in his prime. Lewis also dominated him. Tucker was decent, but he was mainly known as one of those fighters that got their hands on a paper title, and the odds of the fight proves it. Also, i wonder how come Tyson's victims automatically becomes drug addicts after he beats them. They said the same thing about Tirrell Biggs and Mitch Green. i just don't buy into it.

Well,Tucker was two years out of the fighting game.He wasn't getting any better, that's to be sure..Maybe you can take the Bruno fights into consideration, then? Frank was doing pretty well(schooling?) Lewis with his decent and powerful jabs for a few rounds.I think it is in this area Lennox was slightly vulnerable.I'm being fair here,Lewis had pretty complete offensive and defensive skills, but he had flaws as well.
I believe(maybe this is my fandom coming though) a Tyson circa 1987 had the tools to get him off balance and win. It's all academic really,anyway...

I am a biased Tyson Fan so I say Tyson......Actually just because Tyson had good head movement and would get inside and start tearing his ass up...Lennox has never fought someone with the combination of speed and power of prime Tyson...

                    Tyson vs. Lewis

I was just thinking about that fight. Prime Tyson vs. Prime Lewis. I'd have to give it to Tyson. Even though Tyson's the smaller man, he has blinding speed and devestating power. Tyson would KO Lewis in his prime.

Lewis in his prime wasn't as developed as he was in his later years. Even though Lewis is a big man, Tyson would somehow get on the inside and blast his teeth out.

If you remember the fight, Tyson did get on the inside for the first 3 rounds. But then he started running out of gas. By that time, Lewis had him.

                    Prime Tyson vs. Prime Lewis

Iron Mike would knock Lewis out in the 6 round.

TYSON ADMITS THAT HE COULDN'T HAVE BEATEN LEWIS - EVEN IN HIS PRIME!!!

Those are TYSON'S own words. He said so in an interview.
It might've been on the special features of this dvd:
                      http://www.biggsports.com/servlet/th...de-with/Detail

Tyson said, Lewis was "just too big & strong"

I'm a BIG Tyson fan, and would've argued against this if I hadn't heard it from Tyson himself.
