I give the edge to Lennox but it is close. Lennox might win 6-7 times in 10 fights.

Lewis is just a bad stylistic matchup for Tyson, even in Tyson's prime years, great jab, great uppercut, good movement, very good at keeping distance, just not a good style for Tyson.

Tyson in 1986-1990 would of ko'd lewis far to fast powerful the total package.

Tyson would land many, many vicious punches on Lewis. I consider this pair to be among the best heavyweights of all time prime-for-prime, I rate Lewis at his best considerably high, but even at his best he was not a difficult target, he had an ok defence but it wasn't stellar and Tyson was so proficient at closing the distance, so quick at this also, that it really is difficult to envisage Lewis not sustaining serious full-scale assaults from Tyson.

This said Lewis was excellent at utilizing his size and he could tie opponents up, at his best also his jab was pinpoint and ramrod, I could see him having some success offsetting Mike as he approaches with jabs and right hands, but Tyson would land too many crunching punches and Lewis, as he did so, would be forced to cover up or hold on, and that's not good for getting points from the judges, so I'd probably say Tyson by fairly competitive UD (7-5, maybe 7-4, 1 even), there's a chance Lewis would be able to land enough right hands to discourage Mike, and maybe as a result accelerate down the stretch resulting in a closer fight, maybe a draw or a slim Lewis win, but I'd pick Tyson due to his aggression and landing the heavier punches

Lewis has never been dominated or pressured the way Tyson would have. However Mike Kayoed a bunch of stiffs from 86-90 and never fought anyone at the level of even a faded Lewis so it's really hard to tell........
I think the Lewis that beat Rahman the second time (or Golota) Vs the Tyson that destroyed Spinks, would be a really epic fight.

I think both hit the deck. I think Lennox hits Mike with one final titanic uppercut in the 11th round, and stops him cold, then drops him for the count with that right hand.
It would have been one hell of a match.
