He isn't a gatekeeper but he isn't elite either, he was a titlist, a weak titlist.

Well he lost against Caballero and Juanma...and looking at his resume, he didn't really beat anybody of note. Penalosa was an old bantamweight and de Leon didn't even dent him.

hes a good fighter he will be back
he exposed rey bautista and some other undefeated thai
he outboxed penalosa and escobedo 2 very good fighters
but the only elites on that division is marquez and vazquez

closer than a gatekeeper than elite, but not a gatekeeper either.he was a good former title holder, nothing more.

i dont think u understand what elite is about
is like top 15 pound for pound fighters those are elites
both molitor and caballero make hometown defenses all the time there good but not elite theyre very protected, im surprised caballero is gonna travel to canada considering his last defense was against some weak 40 year old
the winner of these 2 is very good but not an elite fighter
