castillo,morales,and gatti are shot..unable to beat even c class fighters..roy is gun shy,past his prime not shot..shot means you can't not wont pull the trigger.roy still has tremendous speed,reflexes and good pop...alot of people will be in 4 a surprise when the calzaghe fight happens..and you can bump this thread after the fight...larryx

Compared to average fighters, Jones is well within competative specs. Compared to his old "unbeatable" self, one can make an argument about being "shot".

I think that Roy is now going into a re-invention of himself due to age and lack of stamina from moving up and down the weight classes. He is far from being "shot" in my opinion and come November, the rest of the doubters will understand and take notice again. "yall definitely forgot".

I don't think he is shot but he is still so far from what he once was it is ridiculous. In Roy-land I think he is shot but, as I stated in a previous thread, compared to other fighters he certainly is not.

Compared to what he WAS.. Then yea Roy is shot. He didn't lose A step.. He lost ALOT of steps. I mean cmon lets be honest.. Trinidad moved UP to 170 and was inactive for a few years and Roy couldnt put him away. And Trinidad isnt' the most elusive target in the world. Calzaghe should beat Roy at this point in his career especially the way Calzaghe holds himself in such a high regard. If he loses to THIS Roy he should be ashamed of himself. I don't think much of Calzaghe so Roy has a DECENT chance at winning but I wouldn't put money on it.
